Why import the 2024 Toyota Camry?
The 2024 Toyota Camry is the launch year of the ninth-generation XV80 Camry in China, introduced by GAC Toyota on 6 March 2024 with 2.0L petrol and 2.0L hybrid trims, followed by the 2.5L hybrids on 6 June 2024. It established the current body — 4,915 mm long on a 2,825 mm wheelbase — and the three powertrains still used today. Entry trims have a 10.25-inch screen and 7-inch cluster, while the 2.0G and above step up to 12.3-inch displays. Today the 2024 model is mostly sourced as a used or low-mileage vehicle, which makes it the most price-competitive way for dealers in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia to offer a current-generation Camry.
For used-car importers, the 2024 Camry is the sweet spot: it is the current generation (so parts and body panels match newer cars), yet the price is typically well below a new 2026 or 2027 unit. We check age limits for your destination before you commit.
