Why import the 2026 Toyota Camry?
The 2026 Toyota Camry, launched in China on 29 July 2025, is the broadest model year of the XV80 Camry built by GAC Toyota, with 17 trims across the 2.0L petrol, 2.0L hybrid and 2.5L hybrid powertrains. It introduced the “Radiance” hybrid editions, including 2.0HXS versions in Matte Gold and Matte Grey, and kept the 10.25-inch screen on entry trims while mid and upper trims use a 12.3-inch screen and 12.3-inch cluster. Because the 2026 range overlaps the 2027 in powertrain and body, it is a strong option when a buyer wants proven specification, a specific trim or paint, or an available unit that can ship sooner.
The 2026 range is where buyers find the most choice. Entry trims (2.0E petrol and 2.0HE hybrid) are priced for fleets, while the Radiance editions add distinctive paint and trim for showroom stock.
Petrol trims in this model year are rated at 5.81 L/100 km WLTC combined (2.0E, 2.0GVP, 2.0G) — slightly lower than the 2027 petrol rating — and the 2.0S Sport at 6.06 L/100 km. The 2.0L hybrid ranges from 4.2 to 4.5 L/100 km depending on wheel size.
